Remembering Gene Rank

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our “weekend warrior” Gene Rank, who faithfully represented Michele’s Hide-Away Screens & Awnings for many years at our Market of Marion exhibit. As one of the most dependable and enthusiastic members of our team and often being the very first contact with thousands of MHAS customers, Gene had just celebrated his 87th birthday on May 31st before being called home on Saturday, June 3rd. The Michele’s Hide-Away Screens & Awnings family, along with all of his Market friends, will miss him and we wish to express our sincere condolences to Gene’s wife Barbara and the entire Rank family.

Excellent company, I’ve had 3 screens installed by Michele’s and have had no issues. Customer service is over the top. Do yourself a favor, have your screens installed by Michele’s, you won’t regret it. The only issue I had was that I changed the battery on the remote and they charged me $50 for a 5-minute repair. After buying several screens from I would hope there would be no charge or a smaller charge. Disappointed for sure.

Quote was competitive and best value for the money. They also had the best lead time, and even beat that. Jack arrived as scheduled, was very professional, and did an excellent job on the 4-screen garage screen system. He also provided some tips and answered questions. Took away the old screen system as well. In all, a very professional, quick and reliable compaby and experience.

Bob was on time and was very careful with removing an old screen on our garage. He chalked all the screen holes and did not leave any mess for us to clean up. We would definitely recommend.
